This is a series of several photographs stitched together. The fresh snow on the trees to the far right really caught my eye. I decided to leave the uneven edges on the top and bottom, so you could see the whole picture. Usually I crop this out, but I felt like I’d be losing too much of the picture if I did that with this one. Also, it’s a very wide picture, so give it a click and let me know how it displays in your browser!

Very nice panoramic image. I love the snow on tree as well and wished you could do a close-up for that. Thanks for visiting my blog earlier, I do appreciate your comment. Wish you well and success in your designing career.

Thank you! When I’m back in Massachusetts we’ll have to hope it snows. Then I’ll see what I can do for a close-up picture, haha.
Looks pretty good Ryan! A question, for stitching the photos together, did you use a separate program, or did you use Photoshop’s tool for it, or did you just do it manually?

Hi Eric,
I used Photoshop’s stitching tool for putting everything together. I then touched up the seams a little bit manually, but that’s about it. It really amazes me how much Photoshop can streamline things, and how it seems to keep getting better and better at what it does. It also really gives me an appreciation for the days I spent in dark rooms, dodging and burning by hand, haha.
