And all of a sudden, Spring was here..
I will have a lot of new photos and projects up here soon, I’ve been busy! I’ll have some photo’s of Turkey Vultures from Provin Mountain in Agawam, a Gifted Threadz photoshoot with Blaksmif and Peacock, and also some pictures from my new toy camera. I picked up a SuperSampler, and I’ll have some pictures and a review up here as soon as I can. Hopefully I will be getting some of the film developed this weekend! The SuperSampler is a small 35mm camera with four lenses. When you hit the shutter button, the lenses go in sequence, fractions of a second apart. You can capture movement, or just move the camera, and get some interesting results.. Well, from what I’ve seen.. I have a feeling there might be a lot of learning to do from my first roll of film.
In the mean time, here are a couple shots I actually took out of my bedroom window. The bird you see in the pictures is a male Northern Cardinal. We have been seeing and hearing him just about every day. There’s also a female, who lacks much of the red coloring, that hangs around these parts too. Northern Cardinals mate for life, so I’m thinking there might be some love in the air between the two.
As always, click the pictures for a larger version.

Hi Ryan
Good to see that you are celebrating spring… it’s been a terrible winter in the UK.
“male Northern Cardinal” doesn’t mean a lot to me but I do recognise the forsythia – a sure sign of spring.
Hard to believe that you took the photos from your bedroom window.
If you look closely, you will see me turning green with envy. LOL
Haha! Who would’ve thought that the overgrown forsythia outside my window would result in such a good thing?
We didn’t get a whole lot of snow this winter over here in Massachusetts, but it was cold. I’m definitely ready for spring!
we had a terrible winter here on the east coast but thankfully Spring came early! I love the pictures of the cardinals! Beautiful!

Hi Tayllor,
I’m on the East Coast as well, in Massachusetts. I think all of the big storms “just missed” us, every time! What state are you located in?
I’m in Virginia and we really got clobbered. It was like every other week we got 12″-18″. It was a lot of fun at first though.

Haha, snow is one of those things that is fun at first, but it loses its novelty quickly!
