I always thought that Feeding Hills was just a neighborhood in Agawam. Like Forest Park is to Springfield. Thank you for the correction! I guess it is about time I learned the difference, haha. How did you come across my blog anyways?

It is in Feeding Hills, Massachusetts, there is a distinctive difference, there is a different zip code, 01030.

@James – I was actually surprised I was able to capture as much detail in the feathers as I did. It was near sunset and I was worried a lot of the detail would drop out. The pictures are a bit more grainy than I would like, but I guess grain is better than no detail. I look forward to seeing your bird photos!

@Sire – Thanks Sire! I shot these with my Canon DSLR. DSLR stands for Digital Single Lens Reflex. If you ever shot film photography, chances are at some point you shot a 35mm SLR at some point. DSLR’s are pretty much their digital equivalent. They’re more complex than a point-and-shoot, but you the options are endless.
